About Me

My Experience

While living in Denver, Colorado, years ago I was introduced to the Denver art scene, where I established myself as an artist. During this time I had the opportunity to join an art Co-op, Boxcar Gallery. Boxcar was located in the historical Santa Fe Art District near downtown Denver. It was a pleasure to work with and be around a diverse group of people and art. I was able to participate in numerous art shows and art conventions, all while learning how to curate my art shows. I will forever be grateful for this experience.

My Background

I’m a southern man who was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, as the youngest of three. I went to University of Alabama-Birmingham where I received a Bachelors of Arts degree, with a focus in painting. This was followed up with me earning a degree in 2-D and 3-D animation from Collins College, in Tempe, Arizona. I spent almost 20 years west of the Mississippi, from Arizona to Colorado and Washington State. But no worries, I found my way back to the south, with a family included.  I now reside in Greenville, South Carolina. I am back to my southern roots.

My Vision

My ultimate goal when creating artwork is to create the work that I want to see. In addition, another goal is to allow the titles of my artwork to only hint the ideas and thoughts behind each piece. I believe by doing this method it allows the  audience a better opportunity for a pure and personal interpretation of the artwork while limiting my interference or influence of their experience.
